The beautiful little crystal revealed

These photos are all of the same piece of quartz  about an hour or so after sunrise.   Except for cropping, no editing changes were made. This is what the camera and the eye saw. 
  

The camera is a Fuji digital SLR, 6.1 megapixel, with a 10X optical zoom. 
The photos were all taken using the "super macro" setting, which allows focused shots as close as a centimeter from the subject if the light is sufficient, as it is here in the early morning sunlight.  Hope you find them enjoyable.
